The Ambassador of Turkey to The Gambia will on Friday pay a visit to Dr Ahmad Scattred Janneh in Gunjur. The Turkish top diplomat Fahri Türker Oba will visit various places in Gunjur, including the Sand Mosque at Gunjur beach, Foday Kunda, as well as hold discussions with religious and community leaders in the deeply religious and sprawling coastal settlement.
The Ambassador will perform the Jummah Prayers at the century old Gunjur Central Mosque, before concluding his visit with a tour of the Gunjur Beach Mosque and performing the Asr prayers at the same mosque.
The visit will also see attendances from top echelons of the Gunjur community including prominent human rights and constitutional lawyer, Dr. Lamin J. Darbo, Kombo South MP Hon. Kebba K. Barrow, among others.

***Welcome ceremony at Foday Kunda:
2:40 - 3:40 pm
***Tour of Gunjur Beach Mosque and Discussions with religious & community leaders: 4-4:50 pm
***Prayers at Gunjur Beach Mosque & End of Program: 5:00 pm.
