Obituary: Botto Manjang has died

Boto Manjang, one of Gunjur’s well Known entrepreneurs has passed away on Sunday. According to information reaching GunjurOnline, he passed away at Medicare in Burusubi.

Botto Manjang left Gunjur for Sweden decades ago where he has spent numerous years before finally returning to The Gambia in the early 1990s to invest and create employment opportunities for Gambians. Boto Manjang and partners set up Gambia Air Shuttle & Pelican Seafood in Banjul where a Gambians including many from Gunjur were employed. Late Boto Manjang will be laid to rest at central cemetery of his home town of Gunjur on Monday morning.
