National Assembly Member for Kiang West, Hon. FaKebba NL Colley has been laid-in-state as his colleagues paid their respects. The honourable MP passed away last Saturday.
A minutes silence was observed in honour of the late MP. The ceremony wsd attended by the UDP party leader, Hon. Ousainou Darboe among other party leaders, cabinet ministers, family and friends, well wishers.
FaKebba NL Colley serviced as MP for King West since 2017 under the UDP ticket. He was born in Dumbutu in 1965. Hon. Colley was a trained teacher and founding member if the UDP who was arrested and jailed for being part of the UDP leadership that protested the arrest of late Solo Sandeng.
Paying tribute to the late Hon. FaKebba NL Colley, speaker of the House, Hon. Mariam Denton thanked the late MP for his services to the house, constituency and country and pray that Hon. Colley’s soul is placed in the highest of Jannahtul firdaws.
Other speakers include Hon. Touray, Hon. Halifa Sallah and Hon. Ousainou N. Darboe who all paid tributes to the late King West NAM.
