This funding is be disbursed to the Gunjur Sports Committee through the West Coast Region Football Association who will oversee the execution and management of the project.

The changing rooms, once completed, will provide players with a dedicated space to prepare before matches and to change afterward. This development is expected to elevate the standard of football in Gunjur and create a more professional and comfortable environment for players and officials alike.

Alkalo Dembo Darboe, in his remarks, praised the initiative and highlighted the importance of investing in sports infrastructure for the benefit of the youth and the wider community. He expressed his hope that the project would inspire further development and encourage young talents to pursue their passion for football in a supportive environment.

The Gunjur Sports Committee also expressed gratitude to the local authorities and the wider football fraternity for their support in making the project possible. They reaffirmed their commitment to advancing sports in Gunjur and emphasised that this was just the beginning of a series of initiatives aimed at improving the facilities at Nyamina Football Field.
