Gunjur - Today marks a momentous occasion for two young legal professionals as they were officially enrolled as Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of The Gambia, marking the commencement of their careers as licensed legal practitioners.
Aja Mariama Dabo, daughter of Saikou Omar Darbo who was sponsored by Christopher Mene’s Chambers, now holds the right of audience in the High Court and all subordinate Courts and Tribunals, except the District Tribunals. This achievement is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and passion for justice. Her enrollment is a source of immense pride for her family and community. This is an exciting time for Aja Mariama as she embarks on this exciting journey in the legal profession.
In a similar vein, Fabakary Jammeh, popularly known as Father, has also been enrolled under the sponsorship of Dabanani Chambers under the tutelage of legal luminary, Barrister Dr. Lamin J. Darbo. With his newly acquired right of audience in the High Court and subordinate Courts (excluding the District Tribunals), Fabakary undoubtedly is set to make his mark in The Gambian legal field. The son of Yahya Buya Jammeh and Jariatou Demba, Fabakary’s accomplishment is a moment of pride for his loved ones, community of Gunjur and The Gambia as a whole.
