Mr Momodou Charreh Jibba, the recently nominated UDP Councillor for the Gunjur Ward has expressed his thanks and appreciation to his supporters following the receipt of official confirmation letter from the Independent Electoral Commision (IEC)

ACCEPTANCE OF NOMINATION by IEC.

Militants, friends and colleague, I rise to renew my sincere thanks and appreciation to all of you. Your cooperation and continued support is my strength. 

Your generosity gives me high hopes and huge courage with a great determination to serve my people. Serving or representing the interest of Gunjur is not a new game for me. I have always been serving or participating in the various communal activities or events ever since I have never thought of vying for this position. However, I believe that it is my track record of active communal service that convinced the people to put up my candidacy. I would therefore thank EVERYONE for the trust and confidence bestowed on me. I feel deeply honoured and very much appreciative of your support. This is a new challenge at a different level but I hope when we unite our thoughts, vision and actions, our community would register greater success and development.

Upon receipt of my ACCEPTANCE LETTER from IEC today, I thank all of you for the massive support. I receive and enjoy cash donations, materials, shirts, advises and fervent prayers. I benefited tremendously from your ideas as well as guidance to stay focused and avoid distractions. " THAT I AM NOT ALONE" is a reality and it has always been manifested both here and abroad including my former school mates. Once again, I thank you all and May God the Almighty bless you all.
