Reliance were the better side against Gamrock in the 3pm game, even-though Gamrock kept their composure and possess the ball well but, quality was lacking in their attack. In contrast the champions had more quality, awareness, individual brilliance and were showing more intent in attack, thereby creating all the neat chances in the first period. The match was temporarily stopped halfway into the first half for "water break" due to the hot temperatures. After the short break, Reliance FC picked up from where they left upon resumption. The dead-ball specialist again stepped forward and perfectly slot into the near post of Biram's net to send their supporters into raptures. However, after the break Gamrock had a chance to level the score but forward Sanna Jammeh only hit wide with the goal at his mercy. He was almost nearly made to pay for that miss as Sanna Jallow forced a save off Biram at the opposite end.

Gamrock FC

Gamrock had a good midfield setup, but their attack was less threatening. Instead Reliance's Yankuba Manneh, Babucarr Janneh and Lamin Touray were the pick of the attackers on view and Yankuba Manneh gained his reward before his withdrawal. He outwits Gamrock defence and hit low into the bottom right hand corner from close range to make it 2 - 0 to Reliance.
